Botinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F. Leftraro the free kick. With a little luck, Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães got control of the ball when Pacífico Bischhoffshausen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 22nd play minutes Juan José González shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Hílton Magalhães and just under the crossbar into goal. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan José González, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to C.F. Leftraro getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Francisco Miguel Pastene hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Sá in the 27th minute of play forced C.F. Leftraro's goalkeeper Leonel Del Real to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan José González's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Hílton Magalhães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juan José González who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Hílton Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Juan José González's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Magalhães was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Sá came free, but Leonel Del Real reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan José González was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Juan José González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodovico Martens in the 55th minute of play. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan José González in the 58th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Fausto Llamllam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Botinho FC's Marco Nóbrega slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonel Del Real. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. In the 72nd match minute, Botinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Nóbrega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Del Real. That made the score 1-3 in the 74 minute of play. Marco Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leonel Del Real tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
