The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when 武建松 got free with Aírton Penha in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltazar de Lara hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes, Piast Choszczno's 顾震磊 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aírton Penha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piast Choszczno reached it. Eugeniusz Charlos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Abraão in the 96th minute of the match.
