Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Mena in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Donciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Vicente Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes Jabones Tocadores got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Bartoleme. Alípio Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Luz in the 11th minute of play. Jabones Tocadores's Orlando Mena got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Jabones Tocadores's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Luz came free, but Alípio Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Orlando Mena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jabones Tocadores's Alípio Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Jabones Tocadores from getting a goal against them. Orlando Mena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Donciu having to make a save. In the 28th minute Orlando Mena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Donciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Mena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Mena came free, but Felix Donciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Basílio Baiano got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Orlando Mena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Werneck FC - DMZ's Joélson Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Orlando Mena made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Felix Donciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Mena. After 55 played minutes Jabones Tocadores got a freekick which was hit by Gastón Hernández. A collision led to Jabones Tocadores getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dionisio Sustrai hit a great ball. Alípio Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Mena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Felix Donciu made a huge save. Luciano Estevez kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Orlando Mena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alípio Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson Amaral's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Bartoleme during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Jabones Tocadores got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Bartoleme. Jabones Tocadores made a substitution. Edgardo Felo replaced Rubens Machado. Alípio Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Ting Nan in the 81st minute of play. Orlando Mena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Donciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Felix Donciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Mena in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Mena in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Jabones Tocadores booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
