Börna Bulldogs's Yngve Åström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diego Alves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Börna Bulldogs's Andreas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Segundo in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gong Qi Fan got free with Diego Alves in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Chicken Football's goalkeeper Diego Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dimcho Chernokolev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Didi Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Cris Fenomeno got free with Andreas Andersson in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Red Chicken Football's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Qi Fan came free, but Diego Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 65th minute of play. Gong Qi Fan took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Alves. Diego Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 72 minutes into the game, Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Red Chicken Football's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Sandström came free, but Diego Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75th play minutes Gong Qi Fan shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Diego Alves and just under the crossbar into goal. When Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Red Chicken Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gong Qi Fan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 84th minute of the match Börna Bulldogs got a corner. Red Chicken Football's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yngve Åström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Börna Bulldogs's Marco Frayssinet to fire away a dangerous shot which Diego Alves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 86th minute Cris Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Börna Bulldogs's Andreas Andersson got control of the ball when Didi Saraiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marco Frayssinet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Börna Bulldogs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Red Chicken Football had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
