The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when Ñacuñán AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Cayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Ian Wright made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Mercurio. Ñacuñán AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pedro Mercurio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Wright in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Ekain in the 88th minute of play. Ñacuñán AC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Oakcroft Thrashers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benicio Otoniel took the corner. Pedro Mercurio made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ian Wright sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Raymundo during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th minute, Jonatan Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Oakcroft Thrashers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ñacuñán AC.
