Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th minute of the match, Cássio Gonçalves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lenny Schaerlaekens was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The throw-in from Iakovos Efthimiadis in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Eskişehirspor's Ahmet Tolga Devlet. In the 15th minute, Eskişehirspor's Gencer Akbey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gencer Akbey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Eskişehirspor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gencer Akbey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 15 minutes into the game, one of Eskişehirspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 18 minutes into the match, Eskişehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Amorebieta came free, but Lenny Schaerlaekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iustin Bâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Lenny Schaerlaekens made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renan Rossi during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eskişehirspor's Renan Rossi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Fernando Amorebieta took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenny Schaerlaekens. Lenny Schaerlaekens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Iustin Bârus short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Lenny Schaerlaekens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eskişehirspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hüseyin Rahmi Hayırlı in the 36th minute. Hüseyin Rahmi Hayırlı made a great header on Eskişehirspor's corner, it was just that Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskişehirspor's goalkeeper Lenny Schaerlaekens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iustin Bâru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lenny Schaerlaekens having to make a save. With a little luck, Eskişehirspor's Lenny Schaerlaekens got control of the ball when Iustin Bâru tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Lenny Schaerlaekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes Eskişehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Namık Kemal Oğuzman. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenny Schaerlaekens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Eskişehirspor defense, Iustin Bâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenny Schaerlaekens. The Eskişehirspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenny Schaerlaekens should have stopped the shot. Lenny Schaerlaekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Lenny Schaerlaekens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Namık Kemal Oğuzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Lewandowski in the 81st minute of play forced Eskişehirspor's goalkeeper Lenny Schaerlaekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Renan Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Scarafia Ghost. Go Ahead Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 88 minutes into the game, Fernando Amorebieta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Lenny Schaerlaekens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Erling Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Schaerlaekens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Erling Lewandowski sped through Eskişehirspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lenny Schaerlaekens. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Go Ahead Eagles fully deserved thier win.
