An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Mel in the 22nd minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Tudor Mihoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buitenhout FC's Tudor Mihoc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Mel in the 22nd minute of play. Ted Fokkelman charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Buitenhout FC's Tudor Mihoc got control of the ball when Grzegorz Gdaniec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grzegorz Gdaniec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tudor Mihoc came out and tried to block the shot, but Grzegorz Gdaniec slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sjaak Degens made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Mihoc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Jans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dobromir Malkanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
