A collision led to Austra VFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sócrates Silva hit a great ball. Wellington Pires received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Gaspard came out and tried to block the shot, but Wellington Pires slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 56th minute. Rodrigo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sócrates Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Rodrigo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 74th minute of play. Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Miccio in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Austra VFC booed when ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Gentry didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the game Amedeo Grifoni made a throw-in which Federico Vani played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Wellington Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austra VFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Gaspard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Gaspard was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Ivar Dalman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivar Dalman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The Austra VFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Austra VFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
