Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frasier Huber in the 5th minute of the match. Bunda Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Pires in the 9th minute of the match. Bunda Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 14th minute of play. Hudson Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavius Gräf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bunda Grande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Austra VFC defense, Frasier Huber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson Gaúcho. The Austra VFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Hudson Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Marti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Austra VFC's Hudson Gaúcho got control of the ball when Urbano Hotz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cafu dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cafu dos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SalentoUnited's Boris Walpert was substituted for Fidel Ciprella. After 38 played minutes Austra VFC got a freekick which was hit by Cafu dos Santos. 39 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's Peter Marti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hudson Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavius Gräf in the 44th minute of play. Bunda Grande came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Austra VFC's Wellington Pires. But to his dismay, Wellington Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Austra VFC's Yaroslav Lyubar was substituted for Tomé Damião.

The wind increased when Wellington Pires made the kick off in the second half. Bunda Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 56th minute of play. Bunda Grande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sócrates Silva in the 58th minute. In the 59th match minute, SalentoUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Helgason to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sócrates Silva got free with Bunda Grande in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Bunda Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austra VFC's Marcus Pollard was substituted for Leandro Vianna. In the 84th minute Austra VFC were awarded a corner. Maxim Vasilitã went to the cornerflag to take it. Austra VFC's Marcus Pollard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bunda Grande in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frasier Huber in the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Frasier Huber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hudson Gaúcho was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When Frasier Huber, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hudson Gaúcho was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Austra VFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
