Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karni Yair in the 6th minute of play. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Paulo Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jarbas Pimenta made a huge save. In the 20th minute Reynaldo Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Kellbom in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Agnaldo de Senna hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Paulo Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karni Yair in the 30th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo de Senna. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Caetano Gustav hit a great ball. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Sena during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Sena to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauan Rosa was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jarbas Pimenta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Godoi went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Allan Varela made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Joseph Kellbom sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Godoi took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Pimenta. Jarbas Pimenta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Karni Yair came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Dráuzio de Sousa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. Palestra do Interior's 吴洲坚 was substituted for Moisés Matorin. In the 69th minute Karni Yair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xurupita FC's Jarbas Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Gustav to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Ange Garrec recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Varela. Ange Garrec showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 85th minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Dráuzio de Sousa with Agnaldo de Senna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vitório Lago struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jarbas Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra do Interior. If Reynaldo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
