After a rather tough play, RED SHARK FC's Aldi Ridholhaqqi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute Pasha Dewantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind RED SHARK FC's goalkeeper Theo Tauhid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moisés Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Theo Tauhid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Godoi in the 41st minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theo Tauhid was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Pasha Dewantara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Palestra do Interior were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

RED SHARK FC's Theo Tauhid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Godoi in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by RED SHARK FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niclas Danielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestra do Interior's players had a chance to rest. Niclas Danielsson made a great header on Palestra do Interior's corner, it was just that RED SHARK FC's Theo Tauhid managed to reach the ball for a save. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by RED SHARK FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Palestra do Interior's corner Niclas Danielsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theo Tauhid quite easily take care of the ball. Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago was substituted for Paulo Godoi. With a little luck, RED SHARK FC's Theo Tauhid got control of the ball when Vitório Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Vitório Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theo Tauhid was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Theo Tauhid was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Vitório Lago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vitório Lago really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 78 minutes RED SHARK FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hudson Sergipano who took care of the corner kick. Hudson Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Theo Tauhid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra do Interior. With his leg Theo Tauhid managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palestra do Interior would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
