The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Loja S.C. defense, Nicolas De La Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Caton. The Loja S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Caton should have stopped the shot. Lucas Beltrán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joel Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Invisible booed when Loja S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Gipils didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Invisible's Nicolas De La Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Caton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 minutes Loja S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Leheren who took care of the corner kick. Joel Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Beltrán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Pascua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franc Armani having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Beltrán came free, but Joel Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Invisible's Nicolas De La Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Caton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nicolas De La Cruz scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Caton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franc Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Villadiego in the 36th minute of play. Nicolas De La Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Caton having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Vedeja got free with Franc Armani in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Loja S.C.'s Alonzo Gipils got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Lucas Beltrán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Invisible fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Loja S.C.'s zone, Nicolas De La Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Caton came out of the goal and Nicolas De La Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Pascua to make the kick off. Nicolas De La Cruz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Joel Caton 57 minutes into the match. Invisible made a substitution. Gonzalo Martínez replaced Esequiel Barco. Invisible's Santiago Simon was substituted for Lucas Beltrán. Santiago Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Caton having to interfere. Ivael Tercero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Joel Caton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Santiago Simon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joel Caton firmly grabbed it by the left post. Franc Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Villadiego in the 83rd minute of the match. Loja S.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reasco Landeros in the 85th minute. A well done corner resulted in Fabricio Vedeja drilling the ball in to score 1-7 behind Invisible's goalkeeper. Santiago Simon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Joel Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Invisible's Santiago Simon made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Caton was left in no man's land by his defense there!
