Dráuzio Pontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Valentine came out and tried to block the shot, but Dráuzio Pontes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Pontes in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Pontes in the 17th minute of the match. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Wawrzyniec Knopek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falconara Albanese's supporters rose to their feet, but Wawrzyniec Knopek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Valentine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonides Valentine made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Arsenio Eufrasio sent off a good shot on target. Leonides Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Knopek in the 28th minute of play. Arsenio Eufrasio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Bemabe in the 44th minute of play forced Falconara Albanese's goalkeeper Arne Grabner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Daunte hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Raimundo Castulo made the kick off in the second half. Arne Grabner made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Nunez Berasko sent off a good shot on target. When Dalmacio Daunte fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentino de Banfield's protests and gave Dalmacio Daunte a yellow card for diving instead. Dalmacio Daunte hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Pontes in the 58th minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Grabner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The Argentino de Banfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Valentine should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Goren in the 84th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Falconara Albanese players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
