Marcus Rashford came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Godfredo Bento could save by the left post. Godfredo Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Bivall in the 21st minute of play. Henrik Kilström scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Bento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Greger Strömbom hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Rashford to make the kick off. If Kasper Bivall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godfredo Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Bivall in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute Baldomero Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
