Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiago Gabriel Vieira kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guará FC's zone, Urbano Fidencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Nascimento came out of the goal and Urbano Fidencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norrlands Athen's Qian Zhen Sheng quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erlingur Haaland, made in the 8th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Måns Sandberg in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Nascimento saved Guará FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Jacinto da Silveira got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Zé Pedro Baiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manfred Fribäck skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Guará FC booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Måns Sandberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelsinho Nascimento having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 21st minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guará FC's Nelsinho Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Sandberg in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Norrlands Athen got a corner. Guará FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filcho Slivkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Guará FC's goalie and right to Måns Sandberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Guará FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guará FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Lundin during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nelsinho Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match, Måns Sandberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nelsinho Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Måns Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelsinho Nascimento was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Nelsinho Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Måns Sandberg's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Manfred Fribäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Beckenbauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Simon Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelsinho Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Qian Zhen Sheng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Athen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guará FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Qian Zhen Sheng. In the 47th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Deckberg to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Lebron to make the kick off. Nelsinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 51st minute of play. Måns Sandberg took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho Nascimento. Nelsinho Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Måns Sandberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelsinho Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Nelsinho Nascimento came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Mathias Alrot replaced Urbano Fidencio. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Gilbert Hermansson replaced Måns Sandberg. 70 minutes into the game, Gilbert Hermansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Nelsinho Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Remo Aguiar got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Jacinto da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrlands Athen's protests and gave Jacinto da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Paulista in the 81st minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Manfred Fribäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Gilbert Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelsinho Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guará FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Filcho Slivkov made a precise shot to the right of Nelsinho Nascimento. Guará FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Norrlands Athen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
