Nacho Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Juan Fernando Pratto sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Stefano in the 31st minute of play. Santa Fe's Silverio Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Haimar in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Fernando Pratto. La Gallardeta's Amado Chayo was substituted for Attilio Stefano. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikolay Podshivalov to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Chayo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Sanson saved Santa Fe from getting behind.
