With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trond Bjørheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Svanberg took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldas Strazdas. Haroldas Strazdas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Dum Dum Boys Athletics getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adam Svenningsen hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Spartans FC's Hugo Guerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trond Bjørheim. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. After 33 minutes of play, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Adrian Svanberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldas Strazdas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Hugo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Bjørheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Keno De Bruyne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's supporters rose to their feet, but Keno De Bruyne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldas Strazdas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd match minute, Spartans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keno De Bruyne made a kick off. Hugo Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldas Strazdas made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Keno De Bruyne sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hugo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Svanberg in the 88th minute of play forced Spartans FC's goalkeeper Haroldas Strazdas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dum Dum Boys Athletics booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Spartans FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Dagorret. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dum Dum Boys Athletics walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
