Dave Rinaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mira Pene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Kopa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paso FC's Mira Pene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Hauguel in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. David Kopa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Christian Minaud could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Mira Pene however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Tomas Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Lucero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Rinaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oktay Eğriöz in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Rinaldi saved Elegance Dijon from getting behind. Dave Rinaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oktay Eğriöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Oktay Eğriöz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stéphane Gaudy to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Paso FC booed when Elegance Dijon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Catoire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Lucero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Rinaldi having to make a save. The Paso FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Paso FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
