Gugu de Mendonça took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radowit Wnukowski. Radowit Wnukowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gugu de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radowit Wnukowski having to make a save. If Gugu de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Road To Glory's Rogelio Abeita got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gugu de Mendonça in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radowit Wnukowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gugu de Mendonça made a great header on Road To Glory's corner, it was just that AKS Chorzów's Radowit Wnukowski managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Gugu de Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radowit Wnukowski was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Gugu de Mendonça took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radowit Wnukowski. Radowit Wnukowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 42nd minute, Gugu de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Radowit Wnukowski. AKS Chorzów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gugu de Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the AKS Chorzów defense, Gugu de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radowit Wnukowski. The AKS Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radowit Wnukowski should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute, AKS Chorzów's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ibo Cimillo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in AKS Chorzów's zone, Rogelio Abeita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radowit Wnukowski came out of the goal and Rogelio Abeita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gugu de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radowit Wnukowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gugu de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. Radowit Wnukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 61st minute of play. Mateusz Solecki hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Ibo Cimillo made a precise shot to the right of Radowit Wnukowski. AKS Chorzów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gugu de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Road To Glory's supporters rose to their feet, but Gugu de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radowit Wnukowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radowit Wnukowski stood somewhat misplaced when Gugu de Mendonça came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Ibo Cimillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Wnukowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Wnukowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radowit Wnukowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. If Gugu de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 90th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Radowit Wnukowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The AKS Chorzów fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Road To Glory were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
