Bora Türehan scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 70th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iliana Seseña to maneuver through the defense. If Esteve Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute of the match, Hori Guillemez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Márk Pécsi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
