An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Angel in the 15th minute of play forced Dune's goalkeeper Tauri Koha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike van Zeijl struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Héctor Gaviria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dune. With an all-out effort, Conjunto Paisa's Tauri Koha threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Harriet Basabe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fix Zubiaur came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tauri Koha could save by the left post. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Angel was the one to do the kick off. Tauri Koha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Angel in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Dune's Adolf Lausmäe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Héctor Gaviria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freddy Roig replaced Fix Zubiaur. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Conjunto Paisa players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
