StrikerS™'s Rosendo Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgiliu Doroftei in the 7th minute of play. Virgiliu Doroftei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rosendo Oinatz made a huge save. If Virgiliu Doroftei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avery Novak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgiliu Doroftei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Virgiliu Doroftei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rosendo Oinatz, 1-0. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Vidal in the 23rd minute of the match. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, StrikerS™'s goal looked a bit too open when Virgiliu Doroftei came free, but Rosendo Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Vidal came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 44 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Portillo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Virgiliu Doroftei made the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Oinatz came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio FBPA's Virgiliu Doroftei. But to his dismay, Virgiliu Doroftei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Virgiliu Doroftei hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Rogério Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. StrikerS™ were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Grêmio FBPA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogério Vidal took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rogério Vidal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andréas Linquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rogério Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Andréas Linquist made a huge save. In the 87th match minute, StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Ying Cheng to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgiliu Doroftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Pedro Haaland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andréas Linquist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Rosendo Oinatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when StrikerS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xie Ying Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. StrikerS™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
