Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute Amauri Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Severo in the 22nd minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nilton Netto fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maxguaruja's protests and gave Nilton Netto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Maxguaruja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Netto to maneuver through the defense. Matías Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cazimir Sălcudeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Loureiro having to interfere. Ismael Braga hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Acácio Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Maxguaruja booed when Ibis Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalidou Koulibaly didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes, Gilberto Severo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maxguaruja and the Ibis Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Maxguaruja got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Severo. Matías Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Eurico Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Matías Loureiro made a huge save. Matías Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matías Loureiro. Matías Loureiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. If Eurico Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matías Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Maxguaruja supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ibis Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Ibis Football Club.
