After 9 minutes, Ede Szász made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. ARAUCARIA FC's Luizinho Peres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luizinho Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ede Szász in the 13th minute of play. Krisztián Lisztes scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizinho Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the game, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ede Szász nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luizinho Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Ede Szász sped through ARAUCARIA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luizinho Peres. Ede Szász might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luizinho Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ede Szász ran back to his position shaking his head. Cesare Silvestre hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Ede Szász had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho Peres. ARAUCARIA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ede Szász was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Ede Szász scored 0-7 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizinho Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhold Artmaier came free, but Luizinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ede Szász in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizinho Peres saved ARAUCARIA FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ede Szász's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luizinho Peres was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luizinho Peres came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by STORM CORNER F.C.'s Krisztián Lisztes. But to his dismay, Krisztián Lisztes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. After the first half STORM CORNER F.C. were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Mazza was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Ede Szász sped through ARAUCARIA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luizinho Peres. After some careless play in the ARAUCARIA FC defense, Ede Szász kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luizinho Peres. The ARAUCARIA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luizinho Peres should have stopped the shot. If Ede Szász had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizinho Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Jităreanu in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Ede Szász left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STORM CORNER F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. After 62 minutes of play, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ede Szász made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizinho Peres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luizinho Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Lisztes in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Krisztián Lisztes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ARAUCARIA FC's Luizinho Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ede Szász in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ARAUCARIA FC's zone, Cornelio Pacifico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho Peres came out of the goal and Cornelio Pacifico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionuț Jităreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luizinho Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Cesare Silvestre got a free kick in the 76th minute. Krisztián Lisztes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, ARAUCARIA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Quintal to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-15 when Ede Szász sped through ARAUCARIA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luizinho Peres. Luizinho Peres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ionuț Jităreanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-16 in the 83 minute of play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-17 when Ede Szász sped through ARAUCARIA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luizinho Peres. STORM CORNER F.C.'s Ionuț Jităreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinhold Artmaier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Peres having to interfere. When the match was over STORM CORNER F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ARAUCARIA FC throughout the match.
