With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulisses Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the game, Lino Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corti the free kick. After 71 played minutes CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ got a freekick which was hit by Lino Abreu. Corti's Sidnei Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulisses Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Rodrigues in the 77th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Lema. In the 82ndth minute of the game Angelo Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ's Astor Natanael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Corti's Angelo Loyola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Natanael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ's Astor Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Loyola in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Corti's Jacinto Pinto got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
