The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. İldeniz Turatekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute İldeniz Turatekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Danone CC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Avram Balțoi was slow to take the kick. During this time 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s players had a chance to rest. Chico Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İldeniz Turatekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s İldeniz Turatekin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chico Albuquerque. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. After 25 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni de Alcântara. Danone CC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sadettin Reha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Danone CC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
