The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cristo Guzman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Albertus FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristo Guzman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 4 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Guzman. 5 minutes into the match, F. C. Clonmels Devils's Damian Dubiel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 7 minutes into the match, F. C. Clonmels Devils's Silvestre Claus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ted Stroobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 8 minutes Albertus FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Dubiel who took care of the corner kick. Ted Stroobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Czeszyk in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Stroobos saved Albertus FC from getting behind. The F. C. Clonmels Devils fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when F. C. Clonmels Devils's Gwidon Czeszyk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Claus came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Janusz Wielowiejski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Hans-Cees Ricksen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The attack was good, but when Silvestre Claus in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 33 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Wielowiejski came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaan Kaa in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Stroobos saved Albertus FC from getting behind. F. C. Clonmels Devils were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Albertus FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damian Dubiel took the corner. In the 46th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieter Theissen to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Janusz Wielowiejski to strike the kick off in the second half. When Christijan van Asseldonk fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albertus FC's protests and gave Christijan van Asseldonk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F. C. Clonmels Devils booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christijan van Asseldonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janusz Wielowiejski got free with Ted Stroobos in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Czeszyk came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Stroobos came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by F. C. Clonmels Devils's Damian Dubiel. But to his dismay, Damian Dubiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 82 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dubiel came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Czeszyk came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Albertus FC's zone, Silvestre Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Stroobos came out of the goal and Silvestre Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ted Stroobos was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Silvestre Claus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvestre Claus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6.
