With a little luck, Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos got control of the ball when Dário Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Manuel Salles hit a great ball. Hans-Cees Ricksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Albuquerque having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Carneiro came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gernando Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Stroobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Proença in the 20th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhou Kang Cheng in the 84th minute of play. Ademir Aparecido hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
