Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cumhur Günay, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Equipo's Bruno Beugnet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Ceni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Melchor Markel was substituted for Steve Harris. In the 87th minute of the match Equipo got a corner. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Zambrano ran over to the corner to take the kick.
