After 7 played minutes FC Buciumii got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Balc. The supporters of FC Buciumii booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Bociort didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roch Grondzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Bociort in the 18th minute of the match. 24 minutes in the game Paul Bogătan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Iosif Găman. Roch Grondzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Pancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Pavel Balc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Buciumii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Bociort got free with Roch Grondzki in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Buciumii's Dominick Van den Bossche managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paul Bogătan in the 38 minute of the game. When Pavel Balc came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the FC Buciumii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Balc couldn't finish the play. Roch Grondzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iulian Nicorici in the 48th minute. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Buciumii were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Gheorghe Bociort made the kick off in the second half. Olavi Vilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilie Danciu lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Francisc Ciocoiu was substituted for Iosif Găman. FC Buciumii made a substitution. Cristinel Gheară replaced Pavel Balc. Iacob Povară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Trăilă in the 67th minute of the match. Roch Grondzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Bociort in the 70th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Bociort quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Iacob Povară made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristinel Gheară sent off a good shot on target. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting a goal against them. After 87 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Nicorici. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Gheară in the 93rd minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Nițisor hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes of play, FC Buciumii's Cristinel Gheară made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iacob Povară was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Buciumii walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
