The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patrick Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Cannata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 3rd minute Demetrio Cannata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olivedos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Jardel Cabezon scored to the left of an out of position Patrick Miranda, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Olivedos's Patrick Miranda got control of the ball when Jardel Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 16th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Patrick Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Patrick Miranda made a huge save. José-Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Passos in the 26th minute of the match. Ulysses Romero hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. José-Luis Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edson Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho de Sena. Patrick Miranda came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon. But to his dismay, Jardel Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 44 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Passos.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Viana was the one to do the kick off. Patrick Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute Jardel Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. José-Luis Chilavert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Ulysses Romero got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Cabezon came free, but Patrick Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Demetrio Cannata came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the EoDu Uai Sôccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demetrio Cannata couldn't finish the play. Demetrio Cannata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Patrick Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dário Viana got free with José-Luis Chilavert in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jardel Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Demetrio Cannata made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Miranda. Olivedos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Demetrio Cannata managed to get in a good position for a shot. EoDu Uai Sôccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Cannata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Ulysses Romero got a free kick in the 94th minute.
