Fae Folgore's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Macaneață ran over to the corner to take the kick. F.Salgado F.C.'s Robert Macaneață was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anderson Trigo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s Teodoro Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Pitin Sánchez came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the F.Salgado F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Anderson Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marco Fabelo came free, but Matt Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fae Folgore's Anderson Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Fae Folgore from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Wincenty Szarmach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matt Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Roald Lillehagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Robert Macaneață managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Macaneață was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Moreno made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fae Folgore's Jordano Bruno got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Teodoro Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fae Folgore's Anderson Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fae Folgore's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Macaneață was slow to take the kick. During this time F.Salgado F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 67 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Matt Ryan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João do Nascimento. Matt Ryan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakub Latocha in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Fabelo in the 75th minute of play forced F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Matt Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes F.Salgado F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alpay Akbudun. Fae Folgore's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
