Marcos Berdoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Latocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fae Folgore's zone, Rosendo Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson Trigo came out of the goal and Rosendo Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Berdoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Anderson Trigo made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Wincenty Szarmach made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, João do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Fae Folgore booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Fae Folgore's Mariusz Sebzda to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Germano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Fabelo came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Fabelo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Marcos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jakub Latocha could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Carlos Germano however easily saved by the left post. The attack was good, but when Wincenty Szarmach in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Anderson Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the game, Jakub Latocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fae Folgore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Jakub Latocha hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The Fae Folgore supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fae Folgore would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
