The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radomil Redisz's late challenge caught a F.Salgado F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomil Redisz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rdth minute of the game Teodoro Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute, Teodoro Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Tufescu. FC MCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Teodoro Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tufescu having to interfere. Manuel Tufescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 16th minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Tufescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Matt Ryan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elodio Ghinescu. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 21st minute of play. F.Salgado F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Macaneață in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Ion Panduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matt Ryan made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Elodio Ghinescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elodio Ghinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matt Ryan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of F.Salgado F.C. booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Clementsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Tufescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
FC MCM's Bogdan Agusoaei was substituted for Florin Gaciu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radomil Redisz to strike the kick off in the second half. Pitin Sánchez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Tufescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Matt Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Agusoaei in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s Teodoro Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Tufescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Allan Clementsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matt Ryan. F.Salgado F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Clementsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 64 minutes into the game, Corneliu Dragușin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.Salgado F.C. the free kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Teodoro Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. F.Salgado F.C.'s Matt Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Agusoaei in the 70th minute of play. Manuel Tufescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC MCM's zone, Dawid Dziewulski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Tufescu came out of the goal and Dawid Dziewulski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matt Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Redisz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Macaneață came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Pitin Sánchez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Tufescu. Pitin Sánchez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Teodoro Moreno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Manuel Tufescu 90 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Radomil Redisz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matt Ryan was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. F.Salgado F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
