The crowd rose to their feet as Cosmin Donecea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Tufescu. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. If Radomil Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half FC MCM were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cosmin Donecea made the kick off in the second half. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Donecea in the 51st minute of play. FC MCM's attentive Allan Clementsson managed to snatch the ball when Villiam Beneth made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, FC MCM's Radomil Redisz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Oskar Söderström narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
