Demetrio Cannata started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Gigel Gologan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 13th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Gologan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José-Luis Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Tănăsocă got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jardel Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero got control of the ball when Jardel Cabezon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gigel Tănăsocă sped through EoDu Uai Sôccer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. In the 45th minute, Demetrio Cannata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustacio Sotero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigel Gologan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eintracht Cernavoda were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after EoDu Uai Sôccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nechifor Ibrișin took the corner. Gigel Tănăsocă kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Gologan came free, but José-Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José-Luis Chilavert made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gigel Tănăsocă sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Cannata to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gigel Tănăsocă put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. Eustacio Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of EoDu Uai Sôccer booed when Eintracht Cernavoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauf Tezay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Cannata in the 90th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Demetrio Cannata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustacio Sotero was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Jardel Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardel Cabezon struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eustacio Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EoDu Uai Sôccer. Eintracht Cernavoda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
