Manuel Tufescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Benkó in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Armada were awarded a corner. Ma Feng Sen went to the cornerflag to take it. Ma Feng Sen made a great header on Armada's corner, it was just that FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu managed to reach the ball for a save. If Róbert Benkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Benkó in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Toma to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Benkó might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Tufescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Benkó ran back to his position shaking his head. Róbert Benkó could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Manuel Tufescu made a huge save. Armada's Diego Maurino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leontin Toma, made in the 56th minute of the game. Róbert Benkó could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Manuel Tufescu made a huge save. Róbert Benkó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tufescu having to interfere. FC MCM's Bogdan Agusoaei was substituted for Florin Gaciu. Manuel Tufescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Agusoaei came free, but Färid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Armada's Róbert Benkó nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Tufescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Leontin Toma hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
