The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Teodoro Moreno sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Teodoro Moreno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Germano. Teodoro Moreno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Abel Iban made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eustaquio Jaizki however managed to control. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Teodoro Moreno made the kick off in the second half. Pitin Sánchez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, F.Salgado F.C.'s Teodoro Moreno made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Cristo Negroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matt Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 84th minute of the match. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pitin Sánchez in the 85th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.Salgado F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
