Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Eintracht Cernavoda defense, Teodoro Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Sotero. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Sotero should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 9th minute of the game was made by Dawid Dziewulski with Robert Macaneață as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Cristi Dulca hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Eustacio Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Matt Ryan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorin Pipirig in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Tănăsocă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matt Ryan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Eustacio Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 21st minute of play. Teodoro Moreno took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Sotero. Eustacio Sotero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 29th minute of play. Eustacio Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matt Ryan made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gigel Tănăsocă sent off a good shot on target. Doru Baicu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in F.Salgado F.C.'s zone, Gigel Gologan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matt Ryan came out of the goal and Gigel Gologan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half F.Salgado F.C. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Eintracht Cernavoda booed when F.Salgado F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matt Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Gologan in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Gigel Gologan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matt Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Gologan's late challenge caught a F.Salgado F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigel Gologan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Gigel Gologan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Teodoro Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 83rd minute of play forced F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Matt Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Moreno's late challenge caught a Eintracht Cernavoda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Moreno helped the player get up and apologised.
