After 18 played minutes, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Rhys Williams shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armindo Salgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les Pionniers de Touraine reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Ziemowit Harasimowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Braga. After 23rd play minutes Abraham Beauval shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Armindo Salgado and just under the crossbar into goal. Raphaël Lallemand might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphaël Lallemand ran back to his position shaking his head. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Raphaël Lallemand. But to his dismay, Raphaël Lallemand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 39 minutes into the game, Abraham Beauval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Armindo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. VB-Team's Luís Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abraham Beauval to strike the kick off in the second half. Abraham Beauval in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armindo Salgado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ziemowit Harasimowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 53rd minute of play. Ziemowit Harasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Luís Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 69th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Ziemowit Harasimowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Harasimowicz came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Luís Braga. But to his dismay, Luís Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. VB-Team made a substitution. Luís Caeiro replaced Joaquim de Barros. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Kubler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Ziemowit Harasimowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Karl Kubler notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of VB-Team's Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute, Abraham Beauval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Pionniers de Touraine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 92nd match minute, Les Pionniers de Touraine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cuauhtémoc Cardenas to maneuver through the defense. Ziemowit Harasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see VB-Team lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
