In the 16th minute Edoardo Filippini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Filippini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edoardo Filippini took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Ferhat Özsan got a free kick in the 26th minute. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Edoardo Filippini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 36th minute of play. Royal PSG were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after VB-Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. André Luquet took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of VB-Team's goalie and right to Fred Torres. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. VB-Team's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Théophile Boutillier got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Edoardo Filippini made the kick off in the second half. When Edoardo Filippini came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Royal PSG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Filippini couldn't finish the play. Royal PSG made a substitution. Luís Braga was slow to take the kick. During this time VB-Team's players had a chance to rest. The corner led VB-Team's Luís Braga to fire away a dangerous shot which Tristan Bétourne despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. VB-Team's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Royal PSG had won, even though VB-Team had held more of the ball.
