Edoardo Filippini scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armindo Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Royal PSG's Théophile Boutillier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mattias Jonasson, made in the 40th minute of the game. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Torres in the 43rd minute of play. The throw-in from Mattias Jonasson in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Royal PSG's Bermund Arruda. 64 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Torres came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Fred Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal PSG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 84 minutes into the game, Mattias Jonasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VB-Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal PSG the free kick. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mattias Jonasson hit a great ball. Although VB-Team had been in control for most of the match, Royal PSG still came away with the win.
