The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Tunström got free with Esbjörn Tunander in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Morgan Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Åkerman in the 34th minute of play. Henry Fagerberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esbjörn Tunander came out and tried to block the shot, but Henry Fagerberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philip Åkerman to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Henry Fagerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Esbjörn Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in GrassNuts FC's zone, Morgan Björkdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Tunander came out of the goal and Morgan Björkdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Tunström in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huang Gang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Sigvard Biörnberg replaced Olimpiu Mirciulescu. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Huang Gang hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Per Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Tunström took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Tunander. Esbjörn Tunander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Magne Gunnarsson. That made the score 3-2 after 92 minutes of play.
