Les Pionniers de Touraine's attentive Raphaël Lallemand managed to snatch the ball when Edwin Ahlstedt made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Beauval in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Abraham Beauval ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magne Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Abraham Beauval might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magne Gunnarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Beauval ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 14th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Ziemowit Harasimowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Tunström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Beauval in the 24th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Les Pionniers de Touraine were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Rönnöfors FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Beauval took the corner. 29 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Per Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Abraham Beauval who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Les Pionniers de Touraine's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Beauval in the 35th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Cuauhtémoc Cardenas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ziemowit Harasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 38th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Ziemowit Harasimowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Fagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Harasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Stenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivar Häll charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivar Häll the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Häll to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bertil Hellgren hit a great ball. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphaël Lallemand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rönnöfors FF's Sigvard Biörnberg was substituted for Olimpiu Mirciulescu. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Kubler in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Ziemowit Harasimowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Stenberg. 87 minutes into the match, Karl Kubler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Kubler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Karl Kubler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Les Pionniers de Touraine were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rönnöfors FF for a fine match.
