Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Cantona got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Marco Cantona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Buturugã. LOI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Cantona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th minute Marco Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cássio Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. George Buturugã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 15th minute of play. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Cantona in the 17th minute of the match. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marco Cantona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Buturugã read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hamdi Ortan came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes Vikingos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Habib Durukan who took care of the corner kick. Marco Cantona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Buturugã having to make a save. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Cantona in the 30th minute of play. George Buturugã came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikingos FC's Marco Cantona. But to his dismay, Marco Cantona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marco Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Buturugã. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

LOI's Eriberto Segio was substituted for Kaan Öztanır. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sulo Montaña was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's Marco Cantona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Buturugã narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 minutes LOI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucrețiu Filipașcu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Vikingos FC's Lucrețiu Filipașcu to fire away a dangerous shot which George Buturugã despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. LOI's Sulo Montaña got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. Marco Cantona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Buturugã read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Ladislao Erramu replaced Marco Cantona. LOI made a substitution. Tayyip Taylan replaced Habib Durukan. 95 minutes into the game, Vikingos FC's Ladislao Erramu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vikingos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while LOI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
