Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciriaco Lorien took the kick off in the first half of the match. Barney Thomson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jeremias Lope made a huge save. Wágner da Costa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Isauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ELMUÑE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Audax Metropolitano the free kick. A collision led to ELMUÑE getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gaudencio Isauro hit a great ball. If Luisão de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Lope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, ELMUÑE's Jeremias Lope got control of the ball when Luisão de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ELMUÑE's goalie and right to Luisão de Senna. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ELMUÑE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when ELMUÑE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Barney Thomson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Miguel Fontes got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, ELMUÑE's Ciriaco Lorien got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jeremias Lope stood somewhat misplaced when Luisão de Senna came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. In the 40th minute, Luisão de Senna made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Lope. ELMUÑE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Luisão de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Ciriaco Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barney Thomson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Barney Thomson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Lope. ELMUÑE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barney Thomson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 61st minute, Barney Thomson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Duardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Falcão Severo made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Valentine during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes ELMUÑE got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Valentine. Jeremias Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Thomson in the 66th minute of the match. When Cesar Xabel fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ELMUÑE's protests and gave Cesar Xabel a yellow card for diving instead. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Geovanni Falcão was substituted for Ernani Corrêa. In the 72nd minute, Cesar Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisão de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barney Thomson during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Barney Thomson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Lope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barney Thomson's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Clube Audax Metropolitano were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after ELMUÑE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matheus Martinelli took the corner. In a very dangerous position, a player in ELMUÑE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barney Thomson in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Lope saved ELMUÑE from getting behind. Miguel Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
