The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in ELMUÑE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! ELMUÑE's Jeremias Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Masseda in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Garin Cañizares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garin Cañizares made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as CON-E-CO's Garin Cañizares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeremias Lope. That made the score 0-3 after 51 minutes of play. When Arsenio Donzel fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ELMUÑE's protests and gave Arsenio Donzel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CON-E-CO booed when ELMUÑE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Donzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Garin Cañizares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Lope. ELMUÑE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garin Cañizares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Fabricio Masseda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, CON-E-CO's Marcelino Chirghentino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Lope was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeremias Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Masseda in the 69th minute of the match. With his leg Jeremias Lope managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when CON-E-CO's Fabricio Masseda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Garin Cañizaress short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Jeremias Lope to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77thth minute of the game Marcelino Chirghentino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ELMUÑE's Jeremias Lope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, ELMUÑE's goalkeeper Jeremias Lope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garin Cañizares. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Marcelino Chirghentino managed to get in a good position for a shot.
