Clube Audax Metropolitano's Fernando Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garin Cañizares in the 3rd minute of play. Barney Thomson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Carlomagno Agüero made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Barney Thomson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carlomagno Agüero to make any attempt to save it. Fernando Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garin Cañizares went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Matheus Martinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, CON-E-CO's Carlomagno Agüero got control of the ball when Luisão de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garin Cañizares in the 33rd minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Fernando Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Wágner da Costa got a free kick in the 34th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garin Cañizares to strike the kick off in the second half. Garin Cañizares struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fernando Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CON-E-CO. 54 minutes into the game, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Luisão de Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlomagno Agüero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Fabricio Masseda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CON-E-CO's Carlomagno Agüero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Martinelli in the 65th minute of play. When Fabricio Masseda came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the CON-E-CO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Masseda couldn't finish the play. Garin Cañizares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlomagno Agüero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barney Thomson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luisão de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Audax Metropolitano's protests and gave Luisão de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão de Senna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Chirghentino in the 81st minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Fernando Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CON-E-CO's Garin Cañizares managed to work through Clube Audax Metropolitano's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Garin Cañizares dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 92nd minute, Garin Cañizares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CON-E-CO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
