After 17 played minutes Mercedario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Enmanuel. Fernando Cresenciano was a little too slow when Júlio Eger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. Mercedario AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Cláudio Couto scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Cresenciano, making the score, 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Ovando came free, but Valdo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SORRISO E. C.'s Valdo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Ovando in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Mercedario AFC booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Mercedario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Manex. In the 68th minute of the match Eliseu Pinheiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Cresenciano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of SORRISO E.
