In the 36th minute Moises Belo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Campagnuolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Campagnuolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Juan Bittor. Godofredo Bordat got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dalmacio Natal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Norberto-Doroteo Méndez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Luan Toro's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto-Doroteo Méndez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Hori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Americo Lluc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 73 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Peruanton. In the 75th minute, Florencio Fernendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Campagnuolo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gustavo Campagnuolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Dino in the 89th minute of play. Zeledon Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
